Lost in Space

There was never really any reason for me to really nail down exactly where I am. There is no reason to know where you are if you know where you're going. And, how much of what I “know” is actual knowledge and how much of what I see as reality is preconceived notions?

Existential questions so frequently result either in logistical syllogisms or in surrender due to frustration. A performer can have every mind in the house committed to a vision of beauty or justice or balance or a concept never witnessed by any other beings and then see it all disappear against an incomprehensibly empty backdrop known as the vastness of infinity.

We know those precious moments. We know they are uniquely ours. The moment laughing with your best friend, crying with your father, holding a lover, saying aloha to a loved one becomes more precious in it's uniqueness.

As Sting would say, every breath you take… be as present as possible my friends. Wether it is the chaotic crack of joy lighting up a summer afternoon or the excrutiation of mortal pain, it has never existed before and will never exist again.

Lean in. Go fast and commit. Learn to appreciate the unbounded value of gratitude. And last but not least, never give up. There is always hope. You and your dreams are worth it.

With love,
